Today was Thanksgiving Day and a time for American families to be together. With most shops and eateries closed, we decided to have an ‘at home’ day.
The day dawned bright and clear and it was soon up to 24C or more so we were able to get into the pool, something which James clearly enjoyed. It was also a good opportunity to refine our list of jobs and to get some done. The ladies in the party addressed whatever faults they could find with the window blinds while Graeme did some general jobs around the house and continued to ad to the ‘Jobs to Do’ list as he found ever more things to be addressed!
In the afternoon, Graeme drove around the outside of Burford Circle to see exactly what development was going on around the community. The answer is - a lot and then the two ladies walked James around the Circle and Graeme went round later to take some pics of the houses with Christmas decorations outside.
We didn’t have turkey and pumpkin
pie for tea but instead we attacked a particularly large pizza which went down
well with a glass of wine or two.
Some very fancy decorations on the circle!
